1935 Issue

The 1935 issue came when the Bank of Canada opened on March 11, 1935. This national bank issued notes ranging from $1 to $1000, and released unilingual English and French versions. The issues up to $100 featured different members of the Royal Family, while the larger notes portrayed former Prime Ministers MacDonald and Laurier.
